Frequently Asked Questions

The real questions about the SDK and the guarantees.
Direct answers, unfiltered.

For builders evaluating SDK integration. For end users who want to understand what ELYSÉA's presence in an app actually guarantees.

For builders

SDK integration, pricing, AI Act, access.

Does ELYSÉA replace my AI model?

No. ELYSÉA CERVEAU does not provide an LLM model. You bring your own key from the trial phase onward (BYOK mandatory). Supported providers: OpenAI, Mistral, Gemini, and Claude (Anthropic). The SDK exposes a unified interface independent of the model — you switch providers without touching your ethical code or your canons. Tokens are billed directly by your provider.

How long does integration take?

sk_test_ available immediately via the developer portal — no credit card, capped at 1,000 MAU. The production configuration (sk_live_) is done during onboarding with the ELYSÉA team — review takes 24-72h. You leave with a versioned, auditable canons file.

Does the AI Act apply to me?

Yes — if your app interacts via LLM in Europe. The AI Act requires transparency, zero manipulation, and zero emotional evaluation in education. These three obligations are covered by the ELYSÉA pipeline by architecture, without additional configuration.

Will my users see ELYSÉA in my interface?

Yes. The "Powered by ELYSÉA" label is present in all integrations — a non-negotiable decision. The visual presentation can be adapted to your identity on paid tiers, but the ELYSÉA link always remains visible. The HTTP technical marking is active in all cases — your users can always verify the pipeline status.

Can I add my own ethical rules on top of the 8 prohibitions?

Yes — this is the tightens-only principle. You can configure stricter rules for your domain: linguistic posture, domain refusals, human escalations. What you cannot do: weaken the 8 base prohibitions. Ethical configuration is unilaterally virtuous — upward only.

Can ELYSÉA weaken my product or limit my use cases?

No — ELYSÉA intervenes only on the 8 absolute prohibitions. Your business logic, UX and local canons remain yours. What you cannot disable: the ethical canons.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at any time, without commitment or penalty. No lock-in on your data or configuration.

For end users

What ELYSÉA guarantees, label, memory, data.

What exactly is ELYSÉA CERVEAU?

It is a layer of rules placed between an application and its AI — 8 rules engraved in code. The builder cannot disable them, the AI cannot bypass them. You benefit from these guarantees regardless of the app's marketing claims.

Does this site collect my data?

No. This site is entirely static — no tracking cookies, no analytics, no data collected unless you send us a message via the contact form. Form data is used solely to reply to you.

What does "Powered by ELYSÉA" in an application mean?

8 prohibitions are active and non-disableable by the builder. The AI cannot diagnose you, manipulate you, create an emotional dependency, or claim to be human. You can verify the status of these prohibitions in real time via the ELYSÉA portal.

Does my memory in an ELYSÉA app truly belong to me?

Yes — JSON export, modification and immediate deletion are available. No builder can access your memory without your explicit consent recorded in the registry. This is not a privacy policy — it is an architectural constraint.

Do different ELYSÉA apps share my data?

Your memory is cross-app, but it belongs to you. It travels with you in the ELYSÉA ecosystem only with your explicit consent — not activated by default. Every app access is recorded in the registry. You see who accessed what, and you can revoke at any time.

What is the AI Act?

The European AI regulation, being progressively applied since 2024. It requires transparency, restrictions in sensitive contexts and prohibition of certain forms of manipulation. ELYSÉA moves in this direction — by architecture, not to comply.

Can I trust the label if I don't know ELYSÉA?

Yes — the label is cryptographically locked to the active pipeline. To display it, the app must call the ELYSÉA API at every generation and the 8 prohibitions must be respected. If the builder violates the rules, the label disappears within 48 hours.
