Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

IN PLAIN TERMS

The English pages of this site set no tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies on your browser. You have nothing to accept or decline here. The French pages of the site use PostHog EU (audience) and Sentry EU (error reports) only after explicit consent given via a banner — see the French cookie policy for details.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Some are essential to the technical operation of the site; others are used to track you for advertising or statistical purposes. The latter require your explicit consent (GDPR / regulatory guidance).

2. Cookies set on the English pages — audit

The English section of the site does not load the audience-measurement provider bundle. Source-code audit results:

  • No audience analytics tool (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no Vercel Analytics; PostHog is not loaded on English pages).
  • No advertising pixel (no Meta Pixel, no GTM).
  • No third-party service loaded browser-side that would set a cookie.
  • — The typeface (Cormorant Garamond) is self-hosted by the application; no request is made to Google Fonts on page load.

The hosting provider (Vercel, Paris node cdg1 — EU) retains server access logs (IP address, timestamp, user-agent) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not cookies: they are not placed on your browser.

3. Why there is no consent banner on English pages

Regulations require a consent banner only when non-essential cookies are used. Since the English pages currently set no such cookies, no banner is required or displayed here. The French pages do display a banner because they load PostHog EU and Sentry EU after consent — see the French cookie policy. For further guidance on applicable regulations, visit your national data protection authority (e.g. cnil.fr for France).

4. Future changes

If audience measurement were extended to the English pages, this page would be updated and a compliant consent banner would be displayed — with an option to decline as easily as to accept, and with the same exclusions applied (no measurement on /playground, /comparateur, /portail).
