IN PLAIN TERMS
After you click “Accept”, two tools are enabled in your browser: PostHog (audience measurement through pseudonymous events, persistence localStorage + cookie) and Sentry (error reports). Without consent, no analytics cookie or tracker is enabled; only your choice is kept in local storage. Server-side, the Sentry error log, when enabled, runs independently of your consent (privacy policy, § 2). A banner offers you this choice on your first visit (French site layout; the same rule applies domain-wide once a choice is stored). Declining is as simple as accepting, and you can withdraw your consent via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. No advertising pixels. Exchange pages remain excluded.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Some are essential to the technical operation of the site; others are used for analytics or advertising. Non-essential cookies require your explicit consent (GDPR / regulatory guidance).
2. Browser trackers
What the site sets or loads in your browser (reference: src/lib/traceurs.ts, read from the code that loads each tool):

No advertising pixels (no Meta Pixel, no GTM). The font (Cormorant Garamond) is self-hosted — no Google Fonts request. The hosting provider (Vercel, region not proven — outside the EU possible) keeps server access logs (IP address, timestamp, user-agent) for security purposes. These logs are not cookies. Server-side, the Sentry error log, when enabled, sets nothing in your browser and runs independently of consent (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR: security and proper operation of the service).
3. How to decline — and change your mind
A banner appears on your first visit. The Decline button has exactly the same visual weight and simplicity as Accept: one click in both cases, no hidden option. Until you click Accept, no measurement is triggered and no analytics cookie is set. After acceptance, PostHog switches to localStorage + cookie persistence (see src/lib/analytics.ts).
Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage (elysea_consent). To withdraw your consent in one click, use the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.
4. Pages always excluded from measurement
The prefixes /playground, /comparateur and /portail trigger no measurement, even if you have accepted. The banner is not shown there either. The exclusion is written in the code (src/lib/analytics.ts, CookieBanner, Sentry configuration).
